Rare Senior Director of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) opportunity with one of the leading global players in the pharmaceutical/biotech industries. Reporting to the Global Head of Integrated Planning you will get the opportunity to develop and direct the overall strategy of the S&OP process. You will also work in close collaboration with the commercial leadership team and key stakeholders to devise the process to meet management objectives. This position will be a key point of contact for Global Supply Chain and the regional commercial team and will also be at the forefront of implementing improvements in business processes and underpinning technologies. Overview of Main Responsibilities (full job description available on request): Accountable for the architecture of the S&OP process and for the successful global rollout and implementation. Coordinates the activities of department management, and provides direction and assistance on the resolution of complex issues and potential problems related to production planning and demand management. Forms a companywide strategic roadmap to improve S&OP maturity, enables process design and adoption through technology and analytics. Accountable to define key metrics of S&OP and track benefits and improvements to the business. What the ideal candidate looks like: 15+ years of relevant experience in a related field. Proven track record of building and managing high performing teams. BS or BA - MA/MBA preferred. Experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industries.
