Recruiting for Shift Supervisors. This is a very hands on role in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will have: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Café or Deli work environment. Operational knowledge of retail environment. Excellent interpersonal skills. Committed to continually improving standards. Self-motivated and ambitious. Computer literate. Must be available to work evening and weekend shift. Attractive terms and overall package available based on experience. Duties and Key Responsibilities. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following behaviours: Supervise the activities of the staff on the floor on a daily basis and ensure necessary tasks are completed to an appropriate level. Ensure high quality and consistent customer service is provided at all times. Delegate and communicate effectively with other employees. Supervise the effective induction and training of employees. To deal with and rectify customer complaints in an effective and pleasant manner. To pro-actively take necessary action in store improvements following customer complaints. Ensure housekeeping in the store is maintained at an optimum level. Co-ordinate in-store sales and promotions. Ensure appropriate cash register and cash handling policy is adhered to.
