Mechanical Estimator. Due to an expanding work load our Client is looking for a Mechanical Estimator with approx. 3 to 5 years + experience to join their team. Profile: The company is an established Plumbing Company in Cork. The Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for the following: Preparation, submission and management of Tenders. Costing Labour and Materials. Analysing Sub-Contractor Quotations. Updating Handover Files and Drawings. Track changes to the design and/or construction work, adjusting budget projections accordingly. Skills/Qualifications & Key Responsibilities Proven record in taking Tenders from Pricing through to final Client Award. The ability to clearly communicate both orally and in writing to clients and other stakeholders. 3 to 5 years in both mechanical and estimating roles. Qualifications: Relevant Degree or Trades background. IT/Computer Systems: Computer literacy including MS Office and computerised estimating software.
