Technical Sales Engineer. Cork/Munster. Exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer to cover the southern Irish marketplace. You will be working in partnership with well-established supplier to the manufacturing and engineering sectors and would ideally have experience selling into pharmaceutical companies with a technical (valves, pumps, gauges) background. RESPONSIBILITIES. • Working across the Irish market you will be responsible for both identifying and developing new business and also providing best in class account management with existing customer bases whilst seeking to maximise on these pre-existing relationships. • Presenting to customers at their sites to make them aware of product ranges and solutions. • Negotiation of sales and sales order processing, with support from Belfast head office. • Contacting key accounts and seeking to develop and strength these relationships whilst also taking leads and up selling. • Liaising with internal teams on supply and quality issues. • Launching and promoting new products. • Attending trade events. REQUIREMENTS. • 3 years+ as a Sales Engineer / Technical Sales with experience of selling into the manufacturing, pharmaceutical or process markets. • An excellent negotiator. • Excellent communication skills across all levels. • Sound level of IT literacy. • Driving license.
