Description

Associate Director - Supply Chain: Cork. This position will play an important role in developing and realising the Supply Chain capabilities roadmap. The position will ensure process and system user requirements are properly defined and met, and tasks are accomplished on-time, on-quality, with attention to detail and scalability. In addition, this position will be responsible for ensuring the process and system solutions delivered actually adds value to the business and will manage all satisfaction, utilisation, and ROI calculations of the solutions. In this role you will support the business on standardisation of E2E supply chain processes, with a focus on cross-functional integration & supporting technology. Responsibilities will include: Forecasting, Planning, S&OP and IBP. Master Data & analytics. Network & site capacities. Inventory management. Quality planning. Sales, Warehousing & Distribution. Procurement & CMO management. Project management of future state processes & implementation activities: ability to organise, define objectives and scope, identify tasks and milestones, build project schedules, identify resource needs, track project execution, & manage risks. Identify areas of improvement with a focus on business process and systems, and translate these opportunities into deliverable solutions. Lead the gathering, documentation, and management of system & process requirements. Manage all satisfaction, utilisation, and ROI calculations of the solutions delivered. Use informal management skill to work with cross-functional groups and contractors to ensure successful and timely deliverables. Strategy, roadmap management & process mapping to support future state supply chain models and strategic decisions. Manage the Business Process Management Community. Create business cases for identified process improvements and solutions. Lean facilitator / Lean approach to identify cross-functional value creation of supply chain processes and improvement opportunities. Build processes and structures on how to utilise supply chain data analytics & KPI measurements to drive root cause analysis, solve problems and identify improvement opportunities. Training structures to support supply chain capabilities & build competency roadmaps. Focus on the technical platforms supporting supply chain, single source of data, integrated applications and integrated business processes. Interested applicants should have: Degree in a relevant discipline (Master's degree preferred. Ideally Lean/Six Sigma Black-Belt active certification. Extensive experience in project/portfolio management role, and supply chain planning. Excellent verbal and written communication including strong presentation and group speaking skills. Competent organisational skills and project management skills. Ability to be able to work as part of a team as well as individually, work with limited direction and be a self-starter and have a desire to learn new business operations. Strategic mindset and must have an understanding of technologies that support supply chain. Experience and command of co-ordinating staff. This position will have a significant role in the success of Global Supply Chain by developing capabilities and managing productivity enhancements. Although Cork based, this position may also be undertaken in part remotely and therefore may be of interest also to applicants not residing in the Cork area.
