Our client in Cork, an award-winning retail store have an urgent role for a Butcher in their store. This Butcher job is a three month fixed term position. As a butcher within our client's fresh food department, you will joining a lovely team and have access to state of the art butcher equipment. There is an excellent hourly rate on offer with this butcher job. Customer service skills are essential. Requirements for this Butcher job: Previous counter experience in a small butcher store or meat counter within a supermarket. Knowledge of HACCP and food safety. Excellent customer service skills. Experience cutting and trimming meat. Responsibilities as a Retail Butcher : Preparing various cuts of meat for the counter display. Taking customer turkey and ham orders leading up to Christmas.
