Responsibilities as a Butcher Department Manager : Preparing a variety of cuts of meat for the counter display. Training and developing junior butchers. Back office duties such as creating rosters and ordering stock. Providing excellent customer service. Waste and margin management. Requirements for the Head Butcher role: Previous experience supervising and training staff. Experience managing stock rotation and managing waste. A keen interest in cooking.
