Compliance Manager Job
My public sector client is looking for a Compliance Manager for a long term contract position to start in the coming weeks. Role can be based in Cork In this role you will. Assume responsibility for key elements of the management of the compliance function including but not limited to team management, service provider case management, and data collation/analysis. Collate and analyse data from all compliance visits with a view to providing critical assessment and proposals for rectifying issues identified. Conduct further investigation at service provider level from information available, e.g. audit findings, audited financial statements, etc. Develop appropriate reports using risk analysis and exception reporting on a monthly and ongoing basis. Ensure that practices are performed to consistently high standard, whilst also ensuring that staff are valued and developed as employees and as representatives of the organisation. Ensure the unit enjoys credible relationships within and outside the organisation. Establish a defined remit and sustainable caseloads. Experience. Relevant accountancy qualification. Knowledge of government accounting regulations. Prior Experience of managing staff. Strong financial skills. Self-driven with a proven track record of achievement and ability to guarantee quality and accuracy.
