EMEA Regional Logistics Manager
My client, a global technology company with a focus on utility services has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Manager to join their ever expanding team. Reporting to the Head of Global Supply Chain key responsibilities will include: Implementation of global logistics strategies and processes into both regional or local models to ensure distribution of product is optimized. Build partnerships with local logistics teams to gain an understanding of the need for local customization of globally agreed logistics operating standards. Maintain relationships with global 3PLs to deliver outsoutced services for warehousing, transport and international logistics. Act as the point of contact for global trade compliance. Manage inbound and outbound process controls and drive cost efficiencies across sites. Represent the global logistics function when engaging in new projects, quality improvements or business ventures. Ensure sites follow inventory procedures. The successful candidate: Will possess 10+ years in an operational logistics role in a relevant industry. 3PL services provider or freight forwarding industry experience. Supply chain degree (or relevant) is desirable. Ability to travel (overseas) when required. Proven track record of leading and managing diverse teams. Knowledge of regional and international shipping and associated regulatory requirements.
