Job Description. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a HR Site Lead in Brinny, Cork. This person will lead a small team of highly skilled HR professionals whilst developing and implementing the HR strategy across areas such as: Engagement & Culture Change, Talent Development, Succession Planning, Performance Management, Retention, Compensation/Rewards, and Organisational design. As part of our HR team, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with talented, diverse thinkers and dedicated people whilst continuing to develop and expand your skillset. What you will do: Bring energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following: Work with business leaders to champion a high-performance culture and support the delivery of our company’s people strategy. Create an environment of trust, dignity and respect, where behaviours are aligned to our company values. Sponsor and manage complex organisational change projects. Foster a collaborative, partnership-based relationship with all colleagues on site. Provide effective coaching for senior management through handling of complex Industrial relations and employee relations issues. Participate in the creation and execution of the site strategy and long-term business development plan. Liaise with global leadership to ensure Ireland are aligned with HR strategic goals and policies. Leads talent management and succession planning across the site. Support the development of line managers' knowledge, skills and leadership effectiveness through coaching. What skills you will need: In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have: Minimum of  10 years’ experience in a HR role reporting directly to leadership stakeholders within the business. Bachelor’s degree and CIPD qualification. Experience working in a large multi-national environment preferably manufacturing. Proven track record of delivering high performance results through consulting & coaching for all levels within a business. In-depth knowledge of Irish and European employment law and industrial relations. Highly effective at handling complex industrial and employee relations issues, experience leading successful negotiations with unions.
