Head Chef required for 4* Hotel in Cork. Ideal candidate is a current Head Chef with 2/3 years 4* experience in a similar type property. You will be "hands on" proven at working in a creative team, using your initiative and operating Kitchen to new regulations and guidelines, You need to be motivated, flexible, efficient and results focused. Candidate selection process ongoing, online Interviews, Start date TBC. Role Responsibilities. · Manage busy Brasserie/ Lounge and Hotel Restaurant food trade, all day food service in outlets. · Experience in Weddings and Banqueting also required, ideally up to 200+ guests. · Deliver consistency and excellent standards of food, service and attention to detail. · Fully involved in kitchen operations daily and experience to work in all areas. · Ability to mentor and train the team in all procedures. · Liaising with GM and Wedding Manager on menus and special events, · Take lead on all hygiene matters, cleaning rotas, HACCP, H/S, Covid-19 plan. · General kitchen supervision and management responsibilities. Requirements. · 2/3 years Head Chef experience in 4* Hotel. · Excellent salary, conditions and benefits. · Free carparking available. · Fluent English written and spoken is required. · Candidates require full legal status to live and work in Ireland - No work permit available.
