A vacancy currently exists in Cork County Council for the role of Senior Executive Quantity Surveyor. This initial assignment is to a full-time position in the Housing Directorate- Technical Architectural Support Unit, which is responsible for ensuring provision of a high level of Architectural Services consisting of architectural design, conservation, and building procurement and input in urban design. The successful candidate will: • Hold a professional qualification in quantity surveying that is prescribed under the. Building Control Act 2007, or a qualification in quantity surveying that is equivalent to. a qualification so prescribed; • Be eligible for registration as a quantity surveyor under the Building Control Act 2007 without requiring further assessment. Any appointment will be subject to registration under the Act; • Have at least seven years’ satisfactory relevant experience in quantity surveying.
