Senior Energy Modelling Specialists. Application details/procedure: In response to a scaling of climate action in Ireland SEAI is expanding its capacity to inform effective climate action. We will be appointing three (3) separate Senior Energy Modelling Experts to develop analytical outputs to inform and drive essential climate action. They will be responsible for coordinating technical analyses and generating effective and actionable communications for policy makers. All three Senior Energy Modelling Specialists will join an analytical and technically expert team within SEAI who are focussed on understanding energy systems and providing evidence-based solutions to inform decision-making. These roles are responsible for leading on the generation, collation, interpretation and communication of detailed energy data and trends. They will also be required to provide detailed technical analysis to drive the work of the energy modelling team and the wider Data and Insights team in their role to provide expert analytical advice to policy makers in the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications (DECC).
