Quality Assurance Coordinator is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our West Cork based Client. This role is a permanent position with an expected start date late April early May. This is a rapidly growing award-winning food company. The successful candidate will be creative and Innovative and work directly with Quality and Technical Manager on the Quality System development. THE ROLE: * Liaise with Quality Assurance Manager. * Meet Daily with Production Manager & Technical Manager on ongoing QA concerns. * Ensure customer product quality is met & exceeded - compliance with specifications. * Carry out quality checks within allocated timeframe. * Liaise with other departments. * Verify Traceability checks conducted. * Assisting the QAM that the following Checks have been carried out by QC's - * Environmental swabbing as determined. * Collection of samples and logging of same. * Ensure quality standards are maintained with respect to procedures, documentation control, * Prevent any risk to food /product safety. * Ensure that all irregularities are reported. * Hygiene checks and GMP throughout floors. REQUIREMENTS: * Degree in Food Science/Food Technology or equivalent. * Min 2 years' experience in similar role.
