We are currently recruiting a Financial Controller for a leading 4* Hotel in Cork. A qualified Accountant, you will be responsible for producing usual financial reports for the Executive management team and General Manager, analysing Hotel and departmental operations and constantly improving financial performance of the property. You will produce monthly management accounts within the agreed reporting deadlines, Prepare and analyse accurate and timely P&L reports, ensuring that all balance sheets are kept up to date and reconciled. You will prepare and monitor the monthly and annual operating budget of the hotel, provide analyses and any suggested activities that need to be actioned to ensure that the budget is achieved. You are responsible for ensuring that the Hotel meets its Corporate responsibilities. Key requirement of the role is to manage time in order, to complete all tasks in relation to the management of the accounts department whilst dealing with requests and queries by suppliers, colleagues, and Management team. Successful applicant will have minimum 3 years Hotel experience as Financial Controller, applicants without relevent expertise and qualifications will not be deemed eligible for consideration.
