  Administrator Responsible To: Ceo/director Of Nursing Reports To: Ceo/director Of Nursing Line-Management: Ceo/director Of Nursing Role:    To Support Operational Management Of Oaklodge Nursing Home Job Summary The Post Holder Will Liaise With The Ceo, Don, Clinical Team, Staff, Residents, Family Members Or Next Of Kin In A Courteous, Professional Manner. They Will Maintain All Administration Records And Will Complete Tasks Given To Them By The Ceo/director Of Nursing. Privacy, Dignity And All The Basic Values That Underpin A Good Quality Of Life Will Be Maintained At All Times And He/she Will Work As Part Of The Team In the home. The Post Holder Will Abide By All Policies And Procedures Laid Down By The Home Which Have Been Developed On Evidence Based Nursing And Legislative Guidelines. Main Duties Human Resource Administration  Carry Out Audits And Maintain Staff Files Ensuring Compliance In-Line With Hiqa/company Standards. Prepare And Deliver Statistical Information As Requested In A Timely Manner And Include In Weekly Balance Score Card. Adhere To Gdpr Legislation And Regulations  Attend And Take Minutes Of Clinical Governance Meetings. Learning & Development Administration. Reception Duties Including Answering Phones And Personal Callers As And When Required. Basic Office Duties, Phone, Photocopying, Typing Etc. Assist With Periodic Financial Disciplines Of The Home Including Receivables, Payables, Banking And Payroll As And When Required – Providing Support To Ceo And Financial Accounting Staff As Necessary. Visitors - Meet And Greet Visitors Where Necessary. Procurement: - Procure Items Needed For The Nursing Home. Health & Safety - Report Any Incidents/accidents And Complaints Immediately & Record Appropriately And Deal With Complaints In A Professional Manner  Communications - Maintain Effective Communication Links Between Staff, Residents, Family Members, Next Of Kin And Visitors. Safeguarding - Contribute To The Safeguarding Of Adults By Ensuring Awareness Of The Role In Relation To The Home’S Elder Abuse Policy. Provide Administration Support To The Nursing Home Management Team. Skills & Experience Proficient In Ms Office Packages. Previous Administration Experience Preferable (Ideally Health/residential Care Setting) Including Admin Modules Of Care Systems And Basic Accounting Software Package. Previous Experience In Time And Attendance Systems. Proven Track Record Of Building And Sustaining Effective And Professional Working Relationships. Knowledge Of General Office Practices And Procedures. The Post Holder Will Be Required To: Report Any Incidents/accidents And Complaints Immediately & Record Appropriately. Work In Accordance With Any Regulations Pertinent To The Running Of The Home. Attend Any In-Service Training Programmes. Participate In An Induction Programme. Participate In An Appraisal Programme. Attend Meetings As Required By The Don. Performance Review The Post Holder Is Subject To An Appraisal.  the Timeframe Is At The Discretion Of Management. Do Not Discuss Any Residents In The Corridors And Be Vigilant Near The Nurse’S Station Or On The Phone, As Residents Or Families Could Be Within Hearing Distance.
