A Buyer Planner is needed by CareerWise for a West Cork Kerry based engineering client. This is primarily a purchasing focused role supporting the supply base. THE ROLE: * Management of supplier base in terms of pricing, sourcing and contracts. * Engage with suppliers on various inventory and delivery management programs to maintain a balanced supply to operations. * Support tactical production & purchasing requirements for a cross section of raw materials. REQUIREMENTS: * Third level qualification in Business or Purchasing or related field is required. * APICS certification an advantage. * 3-5 years plus demonstrated successful experience in a similar type role. * Competency in Microsoft PC Applications.
