Your new employer have over 120 staff in eight offices throughout the UK, USA, and Europe and are expanding raoidly in Ireland. About Your New Job – Your job duties: You will be the first memeber of the Finance team here in Ireland, working closely with the team in the UK. You will: Establish the Finance Function in Ireland. Manage the financial reporting cycle to ensure month end accounts are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Critically analyse results, providing value and add commercial insights. Drive automation and process improvement; identify and introduce new ways of working. Provide commercial support including tenders. Deliver tax and regulatory reporting. Support internal budgeting and forecasting process. Knowledge & understand of integrating acquisitions. Prepare the management accounts for the Irish division, ensuring accurate reporting within financial timescales. Lead on key areas on month end close including ensuring AP/AR close and revenue close. Preparation and posting of journals including accruals and prepayments. Completion of Balance Sheet reconciliations to ensure strong controls are in place with the finance team. What Skills You Need. 5yrs+ post qualification work experience. Qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA or CIMA. Working knowledge of Irish & UK Accounting practices. Excellent report writing ability. Ability to communicate financial requirements to key stakeholders and support stakeholders in delivery financial requirements including tenders/proposals/profit & loss analysis/budget requirements. What’s on Offer. A salary up to €75k per annum - Depending on Experience. Hybrid working if requried - 2 days from home after training period. PC, Phone etc provided.
