Our Cork based MN electronics client has a requirement for Graduate level Manufacturing Engineering Technicians to support manufacturing operations. Please contact Diarmuid Buckley for full details. THE ROLE: * Troubleshoot, fault finding and repair of manufacturing equipment. * Carry out Preventative Maintenance & manage spare parts inventory. * Work within Customer Focusing Teams to monitor line performance and quality. * Work in setting up new equipment and production lines as required. * Develop as Technical leads and interact with equipment manufacturers on support issues. REQUIREMENTS: * Relevant Engineering qualification ( L6 - 8) or apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Eng or Instrumentation. * Hands on electro - mechanical aptitude. * Idealy - prior experience in a plant maintenance / production support role with experience in supporting high Volume Manufacturing lines. * Know of pcb assembly process ( SMT ) a distinct advantage. * Willingness to work shifts. * Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities. * Good communication skills.
