Staff Engineer - Automation

A Staff Engineer (Automation) is required by CareerWise Recruitment to work with a Cork based Global Healthcare Leader on a 12-month fixed-term contract. THE ROLE: * Working with process and project engineering to plan and deliver automation projects with particular focus on packaging automation. * Responsible for Automation engineering design and optimisation. * Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. * Work to prepare User Requirements, Functional Design and Software Design Specifications, and other such associated documentation. * Ensure full compliance with all regulatory, site and divisional requirements in respect of validation of systems. REQUIREMENTS: * Degree or equivalent in relevant Engineering or Science discipline (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electronic, Production etc.) * A minimum of 4 years automation experience in a team based regulated manufacturing environment. * Good knowledge of GMP / FDA regulatory requirements and current Health and Safety Regulations and legislation. * A proven track record in designing, commissioning, validating and maintaining automated solutions. * Demonstrable analytical & problem-solving skills using recognised methodologies.
