About your new Job. • Advise on Health, Safety and Environmental issues on a day to day basis on site. • Delivering and completing statutory notifications to the Health & Safety Authority. • Ensuring that record of statutory inspections is kept for all activities and plant equipment. • Delivering Health & Safety induction program's for new employees or contractors working on site. • Ability to carry out and write site inspection reports and site audit reports. • Organizing and chairing the Safety Meetings for Sub-Contractors personnel. • Collecting and collating relevant information for inclusion in the Safety File and preparing for handover to the Client at the end of the project. What skills you need. • 3rd level or Diploma in a health & safety qualification essential. • 3+ years health & safety on site experience essential. • Experience in the construction industry would be desired. • Good verbal and written communications skills. • Previous experience managing safety on site. • Strong work ethic and the ability to produce accurate work. • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Publisher, Excel and PowerPoint.
