We are recruiting experienced Rooms Division Manager for a small 4* Hotel in Co Cork. This is a fulltime, permanent role but all ollows for remote/ Home working arrangements during off season. Your Role. *Under the general guidelines of the GM to ensure the day-to-day Front Office, Reservations, Accommodation Department operations are carried out in line with Department and Hotel standards. *To provide quality service to guests at all times, dealing with all complaints arising in a timely manner. *To carry out duties in accordance with statutory, health and safety requirements. *Assist with Front Desk activities / guest queries and check in / out of guests. *Deal with all payments, ensuring they are balanced and accurate. *Assist with the Recruitment, induction, training and supervision of all Team Members. *Track and monitor weekly customer feedback and respond as appropriate. *Coordinate all activities for daytime and overnight teams. *Ensure guest satisfaction procedures and standards are maintained by the Reception Team. *To control all costs, including payroll, associated with the Rooms Division Department. * Motivate the Team Members towards achieving the Sales targets for Front Office. * To liaise with the other managers in maximising overall hotel sales and performance. * To ensure the brand loyalty targets are achieved in conjunction with Guest Relations Manager. The Person. *Have 3+ years previous management experience in Reception / Front Office operations, in a 4 star hotel. *Have Front Office and Accommodation / Rooms Hotel. *Be a genuine, friendly, welcoming person with excellent interpersonal skills. *Have an appropriate 3rd level qualification in Hospitality/Hospitality Management or a relevant discipline. *Have extensive experience with Hotsoft. *Be experienced with MS Office packages such as Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. *Be very flexible, being prepared to help out the rest of the Team in a willing and positive manner. *Have excellent attention to detail. *Have a pro-active approach to selling and coaching the team to upsell continually. *Have excellent spoken and written English.
