Role Purpose: The Health & Safety Advisor will take responsibility for the provision of Health & Safety support across our large, highly-regulated client site in Cork. The successful candidate will support and work towards preparing all aspects of Health & Safety on site to audit readiness. This role would be ideal for an ambitious, organised and hard-working individual looking to take the next step in their career as well as gaining a wealth of experience within a highly regulated environment. Duties: Review MSDS Control Log to identify Safety Data Sheets that are approaching (yellow cells) or have exceeded (red) their 3-year review period. Ensure material is still in use on site – remove from Log if discontinued. Check the suppliers online SDS support or contact them directly for latest versions. Check new SDS versions for classification changes (H-Phrases etc.) and note updates. Upload new SDS and change review date. Undertake site checks to ensure all materials are included in the MSDS Control Log. Review Contractors Access Log to identify firms with expired (a) insurance details and (b) annual assessment forms. Source and upload latest insurance documentation. Distribute Contractor Annual Assessment forms to site hosts and upload to log when each for is completed. Update the Contractor Access Log with the daily inductions supplied by security. Transfer reviewed Share-Point documents to the new Hydromet format.  Undertake L1 Audits. Write-up and circulate subsequent report. Upload resulting actions to Q-Pulse. Carry out PTW audits using either the Q-Pulse templates or the site permit check tool. RC Audit: Role in investigating changes in current status and providing information to update controlled documents.  Plant related work. Writing L1-Audit Protocols. Plant Inspection Cards Check. Raising SAP Notifications. Progress Tracking. Education & Qualifications Required: Qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, related discipline or relevant technical qualification. Minimum of one year post-graduate experience working in a Health & Safety role. Experience working in a highly regulated environment. Extensive knowledge of current legislation and guidelines relating to Health & Safety in the workplace. Excellent organisation, planning and decision making skills. Strong attention to detail. Good communication skills (written and verbal. Ability to work autonomously adhering to tight deadlines.
