We are currently recruiting an experienced General Manager taking responsibility for overall hotel Operations and performance for a boutique 4* Hotel in Co Cork. The role will require the effective and efficient management of the entire Hotel operations including all Food and Beverage, Events, Front of House, Rooms Division, Sales, Finance etc. leading the team, working closely with Owners and coordinating all day to day activities in the Hotel. Requirements. · Experience in "hands on role" managing Leisure/Events hotel. · Candidates need experience managing Weddings, Conferences, meetings. · Must display effective leadership and team management abilities. · Reliable, committed, motivated and above all professional person. · A positive attitude, a “can do” approach, an approachable style, results driven. . Proven backround in achieving Sales and Financial targets for your Hotel. · Work Permit is not available for this role, full legal status to work in Ireland is required. Responsibilities. · Manage daily operations in all areas of the hotel, reporting to MD. · Lead and guide the team as required during service / shift / weekly planning etc. · Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene prevail throughout the Hotel and grounds. · Ensuring all shift, Cash. Health/Safety, opening/closing procedures including C-19 guidelines are maintained. · Provide leadership and facilitate a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all. .
