 we are recruiting experienced revenue manager for a 4* hotel in cork. this individual will be career focused and will want to be instrumental to the success of the hotel through their contribution to the overall revenue strategy and execution in the hotel.  the ideal candidate will need to be able to work in a fast paced and customer focused environment.   scope of role:   revenue management and distribution strategy for the hotel, and management of the day to day.     yield operations, and reservations function.  achieve budgeted rooms segmentation and sales revenues.  maintain implement robust revenue management operations, procedures and best practices.  identify new revenue opportunities.  provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting and forecasting.  optimize and expand distribution partnerships in line with hotels revenue strategy.  act as overall business development consultant for the hotel general manager/owner.  challenge and influence hotel to improve service level and operational standards.  build and maintain  strong working relationships with all levels of staff at the hotel.  embed a revenue management culture.     minimum requirements:   minimum of 2 years revenue management experience in a 4* hotel.  expert knowledge of pms / integrated channel management systems / hotel website booking.     engines/ 3rd   party distribution channels/ gds, hotsoft.  track record inrevenue management success and over-achievement essential.  revenue focused, detail orientated, target and results driven.  strong commercialawareness with ability to produce budgets / forecasts / reports.  experienced in reservations and revenue functions at both operational and management.     levels. experience of effective people management in a team environment.  effective communicator with clients and colleagues, individually and in groups, with.     the  capacity to provide clear written reports and strategies.  excellent levels of personal motivation and organisation. must be a self-starter with.     multi-tasking ability and have the capacity to respond to a fast-paced changing environment.  confident, ambitious and pro-active, and seeks out challenges and is driven by success  role is recruiting now, interviews on-site, work permit not available for this role  contact richard for further details at to in word format  .
