A Plant Fitter is required by CareerWise Recruitment to work with a Utility Company based in Glanmire, Cork on a permanent contract. THE ROLE: * Operate within the company health and safety guidelines and ensure that all contractors and visitors to understand and operate to that standard. * Ensure that all operations within their area of responsibility are properly resourced and are safely and efficiently undertaken at all times making maximum usage of available resources. * Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with all Health & Safety, Environmental and Operational procedures. * Ensure proper housekeeping is maintained at all times and that all contractors are aware of and comply with their duties in this regard. * Conform strictly to all instructions given by the Environmental Dept. on meeting legal and environmental requirements. REQUIREMENTS: * Qualified mechanical fitter or mechanic. * Welder Qualification Certificate. * Valid abrasive wheel training. * Certified forklift/grab machine operator an advantage. * Excellent knowledge in Health & Safety.
