We are currently recruiting experienced Duty Manager for large 4* Hotel in Cork City. The ideal candidate should have a high standard of customer service, knowledge of PMS and front office systems. The Duty Manager requires the experience to manage Hotel operations on a daily basis to include Front of House, small Conferences and Events, Bars and Restaurant. ( Hotel does not have a large volume Conference / Banquet facility ) To have the initiative to deal with any guest’s queries or operational queries / room set ups and AV equipment to a professional & efficient standard. To ensure all guests requirements are met and exceeded. Communication and presentation must be excellent at all times. The ideal candidate will have 2 years prior experience as a Duty Manager in a Hotel. The role will include working in the main function rooms for conferences and Events, delegation of tasks, fire walks, cash handling, overseeing food/ Beverage service during peak times and ensuring the Guests are happy. You will hold meetings with Staff and ensure your long- and short-term planning for each function is completed in a timely manner. Targets, management of waste, wage control & budgets will also form part of your role. Ideal Candidate must have: · Previous Duty Management experience in a busy 4* property. · Good Communication Skills. · Excellent attention to detail. · Exceptional Customer Service.
