An Associate Director of Supply Chain is needed by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based global pharmaceutical client. This role is responsible for managing the purchasing of raw materials and consumables to support manufacturing, inventory and planning management and ownership of metrics and SAP business system for SCM. THE ROLE: * Management of the buying and planning teams including completing performance reviews and development planning. * Ensure robust business processes and aligning ERP requirements. * Manage the resolution of all direct material & consumables constraints. * Key point of contact cross functionally to ensure NPI projects. * Manage Supply Chain metrics & KPIs. REQUIREMENTS: * Third level degree with 5+ years supply chain experience. * Previously demonstrated leadership/mentorship through existing or previous roles. * Relevant qualification in purchasing / supply chain would be a distinct advantage. * ERP or SAP experience in a complex manufacturing environment. * Experience of Supply Chain Leadership. * API manufacturing experience and New Product introduction knowledge is preferable.
