A Senior IC Design Engineer is needed by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based electronics client. The person will work on analog and mixed signal designs for optical applications across multiple sectors. THE ROLE: * Design high speed, high precision receiver ICs optoelectronic applications. * Design high speed LED and laser driver ICs. * Contribute to the development of analog/mixed signal IC characterisation, test and device. qualification engineering activities. * Work closely with production engineering teams to successfully release products to manufacturing. REQUIREMENTS: * 2.1 Honours or higher degree or equivalent in Electrical or Electronic Engineering. * 5+ years of analog and/or mixed signal IC design experience. * Knowledge and experience of linear analog design. * Experience of low noise design, design of amplifiers and active filters and linear signal processing. * Experience with industry standard design tools (Cadence, Mentor Graphics. * Candidates must be able to work in Ireland.
