A Production Supervisor is needed by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based recycling client. This is a varied role leading a team of operators and maintenance to optimise output. THE ROLE: * Ensure all processes are carried out in accordance with all Operational, Health & Safety and Environmental procedures. * Management and scheduling of operational staff in the performance of their duties. * To initiate and help develop 'best practice' in the handling and processing of waste streams within the area of responsibility. * Ensure proper housekeeping is maintained at all times and that all staff are aware of and comply with their duties in this regard. * Managing required transport capacity. REQUIREMENTS: * Multidiscipline and flexible individual. * Practical experience in the operation of plant and equipment. * Proven ability to lead and motivate team members to achieve agreed targets while maintaining employee satisfaction. * Certified forklift/bobcat/grab machine operator an advantage. * Basic computer skills required.
