A Cost Accountant is needed by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based pharmaceutical client to work on costing, inventory management and reporting analysis for the supply chain organisation. THE ROLE: * Perform product costing processes as part of the annual standard costing process. * Forecasting of planned manufacturing performance variances (use yield, PPV, losses. * Financial oversight for accuracy, existence and valuation of company inventory. * Liaising with supply chain and European manufacturing sites to ensure proper control is exercised with regard to cycle counting, inventory reconciliation and obsolescence. * Participate in the budgeting of Company's OPEX and comparison of planned vs actual OPEX. * Oversee and ensure the correct accounting for all transactions in complex intercompany purchases/sales, stock movements and toll accounting processes. REQUIREMENTS: * Qualified Accountant ACA/CIMA/CPA/ACCA with 3-5 years PQE. * Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including Manufacturing and/or Cost Accounting experience. * Knowledge of US GAAP, SAP and SOX control is preferred.
