Pipe Designers with experience in AutoCAD Plant 3D ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION. Designing and Creating mechanical, structural, civil, HVAC, Equipment, Building services 2D and 3D AutoCAD Drawings for the Life Science, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Oil & Gas and Waste, Energy, Food, Paper and Pulp industries. RESPONSIBILITIES. • Generating PFD’s, P&IDs, Structural, Piping and Civil General Arrangement Drawings in 2D and 3D AutoCAD. • Creating Piping Specification using AutoDesk Plant 3D. • Creating 3D models in piping using AutoDesk Plant 3D. • Creating Isometrics from the 3D piping model and / or AutoDesk Plant 3D. • Creating a Bill of Materials from 3D piping model and / or AutoDesk Plant 3D. • Creating Steel Structures using AutoDesk Advance Steel. • Creating 3D models of piping and structural using AutoDesk Plant 3D. • Mechanical Design and Documentation. • Organising and maintaining engineering drawings, documents, specifications and engineering related databases. • Detailing and updating of mechanical drawings and accurately handle engineering releases, versions and revisions. • Reviewing Vendor Drawings. • Site Surveying. • Reviewing and checking drawings created by other team members. • Coordinating with team members. • Supporting and assisting Process Department. • Supporting and assisting E&I Department. • Supporting and assisting Mechanical Validation Department. • Supporting and assisting Construction Department. PRE-REQUISITE SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE KEY TASKS: 1. A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 2. Piping design experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. 3. Good understanding of basic drafting standards and dimensioning. 4. At least 3 years’ experience with using AutoCAD for 2D and 3D drawings. 5. Self-starter with the ability to initiate and drive projects with little supervision. 6. Creative problem solver with ability to find creative solutions with a “can-do” attitude, in a fast-paced environment. 7. Strong proactive work ethic - someone who takes pride in professionalism and responsibility. 8. Working knowledge of AutoDesk Plant 3D and / or similar design software package. 9. Proficient with Microsoft suite of applications. 10. Strong Design and Engineering skills.
