A Business Unit Manager is needed by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based food production client. The person will lead an operations team and drive the commercial growth of the business working closely with the CEO. THE ROLE: * Commercial analysis of the business providing information which develops actions which improves the P&L. * Develop new sales channels for the business. * Procurement of raw materials. * Oversee operations team to ensure delivery of first-class service and quality to the customers. * Development and delivery of five-year strategy for the business unit which delivers for the shareholders. * Deliver CI projects annually. REQUIREMENTS: * Third level qualification in business, food business or equivalent. * Needs to have strong commercial acumen and drive to grow the business sales. * Previous operations management experience in FMCG manufacturing. * Good negotiation skills. * Experience of management in a unionised environment would be preferred. * A very competitive package in on offer.
