Cork City Centre  Scope Of Position:   Working In Conjunction With The Hotel Sales Team, The Meeting & Events Sales Executive Will Be Responsible For Maximising The Food & Beverage, Meeting Rooms Sales Potential And Over All Of Both Business Segments. The Candidate Should Be Pro-Active And Energetic With A Proven Track Record In Achieving Sales Targets And The Ability To Effectively Execute A Focussed Sales Plan For The Agreed Market Segments.     · Maximize Revenue Through Selling The Meeting Room As Much As Possible While Allowing For Turnover   · Monitor And Chase Any Provisional Status Bookings, Ensuring That Contracts Are Signed And Returned Within A Reasonable Timeframe  · Meet Clients On Day Of Arrival  · The Accurate Posting Of Charges On Accounts During The Working Week. Monitor Payments, Billing, And Pre-Payments  · To Share Feedback From Conferences / Dining Events With The Hotel Management Team  · To Attend Exhibitions, Corporate Events, Consumer Shows, And Client Meetings As Requested   · Input Into F&b And Meetings Budget   Identify Key Competitors And Carry Out Regular Competitive Analysis.
