We are currently recruiting an experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor for a 4* Hotel in Cork City The role will require the effective and efficient management of all Restaurant & Bar business and coordinating all day to day activities in the Hotel during your shift. Note there is no large Volume Banqueting / Events at this Hotel but several smaller meeting rooms in constant use. As breakfast is the most important meal of the day early starts will be required 06.30am is shift start ! Requirements. · Experience in supervising busy Restaurant and Bar Outlets, Room service, Etc. · Candidates need experience managing Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner service. · Front of House experience required to offer colleagues assistance in this area. · Must display effective leadership and team management abilities. · Reliable, committed, motivated and above all professional person. · A positive attitude, a “can do” approach, friendly and outgoing personality. · Some Duty Management experience preferred, ideally in a 4* Hotel in Ireland. · Work Permit is not available for this role, full legal status to work in Ireland is required. · Fluent English and excellent IT skills required. Responsibilities. · Supervise daily operations and coordinating all F&b areas in the hotel. · Lead and guide the team as required during service/prep periods. · Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene prevail. · Observe all shift and opening / closing procedures adhering to all Company guidelines. · Provide leadership and facilitate a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all.
