Job Summary. As an AWS Sales Specialist focused on NetApp’s AWS Public Cloud Services for EMEA, you will be the got-to person for AWS working with prospects as well as existing customers. You are driving and let me emphasize that an AWS native service called FSxONTAP which is an AWS billed, AWS supported native AWS console service.  You are the face at NetApp representing the wider AWS NetApp cloud portfolio establishing a super strong relationship together with your AWS enterprise colleague at NetApp. Together you will shape the AWS GTM strategy in DACH with focus on strategic AWS accounts while supporting NetApp customers to successfully migrate to AWS. Essential Functions: The responsibilities of the Commercial AWS Sales Specialist are to work directly with customers, either with NetApp core sales teams or independent to capture NetApp AWS opportunities and to work effectively across functions with other NetApp employees. AWS is the number 1 factor of success for you so building a trusting, strong, reliable alliance and selling motion with your AWS counter parts is critical. Schedule and attend sales call appointments with customers. You have support from inside sales teams to bring in opportunities but we’re looking for someone that doesn’t hesitate to pick up the phone and call the customer.  Technical/IT interest and desire to grow technically to help customers where our solutions truly help their business demands. Utilizing a consultative approach, discuss business issues with customers and develop a formal quote, a written sales proposal, or a formal sales presentation addressing their business needs. Develop an account management plan to sell to customers based on their business need. Recommend marketing strategies. Provide status information to your manager including forecast/pipeline information. Provide and facilitate training opportunities for your accounts with core sales team, partner sales teams and hyperscaler sales team. Identify NetApp customer references that can be utilized when reference selling.   Job Summary. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cloud SaaS sales or pre-sales roles with a strong sales focus.  Worked in an overlay/specialist position with account managers who own relationship with customer. Strong understanding of enterprise computing, storage and storage management technologies and competitive offerings in the Fortune 1000 segment. Strong verbal and written communications skills including presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with employees within department and across functions. Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems. Able to convey information clearly and provide analysis customers use to make buying decisions. IT, engineering or business masters degree. Responsibility and Interaction: Responsibility This individual uses their skills to contribute to the development of company objectives and principles and to achieve sales function goals in creative and effective ways. Is responsible for a specific geographical install base and large, complex, high visibility, strategic, or tactically important accounts. Interaction This individual effectively influences senior internal personnel within the function, employees in other functions that support the sales effort, and has direct customer contact. May successfully coordinate significant projects or initiatives across functional groups. Limited management supervision and direction is provided since this individual operates and drives results independently.   Education. Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
