Job Summary. As the architect for the cloud business intelligence system, you are expected to design, develop, and run a business intelligence system that allows analysts as well as executives to slice and dice their business at ease and with modern tools.  You lead a team of developers to build a robust system in an agile fashion with highest quality standards.  You also work with analysts and data scientists to code certain logic that investigates deep insights into the business.  You are expected to be a full-stack developer with superb SQL skills to design and build a modern BI system that allows us to use state-of-the-art visualization tools to see with clarity how our business is succeeding. Our combined responsibility is to make our product teams, sales, and marketing successful in gaining market share and exceed expectations in generating revenue. The system you own needs to be up-to-date with the latest data so it can inform leadership of critical trends fast.  The system needs to support state-of-the-art visualization and query-building tools that are automatically updated daily and for business reviews. Your efforts will enable business analysts and data scientists to develop the insights needed to accelerate growth and reduce risks. You are expected to clearly communicate the state-of-affairs, release schedules, and a roadmap of this system, which needs to meet or exceed business requirements. Furthermore, your role is to work with corporate IT to align with corporate standards and security requirements.  The BI system will eventually smoothly integrate with internal and external systems to support business analysts with the most effective data combinations.  This role is part of a global team residing in many time zones and working in a hybrid work mode.  Job Requirements. •    Deliver a top-notch BI system. •    Guide developers to successfully deliver functionality on time, on budget, with high quality. •    Identify the best technical solution to the business requirements. •    Publish release schedules and roadmaps. •    Conduct architectural reviews and training sessions  •    Lay out a delivery process for analysts to implement views for dashboards. •    Keep cost as low as possible by tuning resources accordingly. •    Devine best practices for design and coding. •    Respond and solve production issues per business expectations. •    Deliver and operate a solid DevOps process, including deployment processes, code fix processes. •    Deliver ER diagrams, architectural drawings. CRITICAL SKILLS. •    BI Data Warehouse design skills. •    Azure full stack technologist. •    SQL expert. •    DB schema design skills. •    File processing skills. •    API building skills. •    .NET skills. •    Expert in API implementations. •    Expertise in C#, ASP.NET, .Net Core, Python, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, MS SQL Server, NoSQL, Windows, Linux, Shell Scripting, AWS, Azure, GCP. •    Data modeling, API development, ETL programming skills, data/systems/application integration skills, SSO implementation skills. •    Translate business requirements into end-user solutions. •    Work under pressure and have the ability to prioritize. •    Coach a development team. •    Self-starter and excellent problem-solving skills. •    Quick learner and adaptable to a constantly changing environment.   Education. •    BA or Masters in Computers/Data/Software Engineering Science from a reputable university. •    10+ years industry experience in technical architecture. •    Proven track record for having designed and developed successful BI systems. •    Excellent data scientist. •    Expert command of full-stack technology in Azure, AWS, and GCP. •    Expert SQL skills. •    Clean and clear communication skills. •    Passion for the job. •    Fully informed and familiar with latest technologies, tech trends and best practices in SaaS and cloud technologies.
