A Supply Chain Planner is needed by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational electronics client based in Cork. The role involves the support of purchasing and planning for a global product line. THE ROLE: * Develop master production schedule based on the sales and operations planning process for product supply. * Analyse production and capacity requirements based on standard product lead time. * Complete capacity analysis for any changes to product portfolio and advise of any impacts, communicating internally and external to manufacturing and suppliers. * Be responsible for weekly and monthly planning processes. * Manage the demand scheduling of a global supplier and sub-contractor base. REQUIREMENTS: * Good working knowledge of MRP (inputs, logic and outputs) within SAP ERP system. * Strong planning and organizational skills, experience in electronics industry is an advantage. * Excellent Excel skills. * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Manufacturing or Supply Chain Management or relevant experience is desirable. * APICS certification strongly preferred. * 5+ years Planning experience in an industrial environment. * Candidates must be qualified to work in Ireland and hybrid work model an option.
