A Production Manager is needed by CareerWise Recruitment for an East Cork based food production client. This is a chance to develop a process and team in a recently build, highly-automated production facility. THE ROLE: * The Production Manager will be a member of the Plant Management team. * Reporting to the plant manager, the fundamental purpose of this position is lead and control the production of key areas in a highly automated and technical processing facility. * Ensuring that product is made to specification while adhering to the highest standards of safety, quality and environmental requirements. * Ensure an inclusive work environment based on trust, driving for results and continuous. * Apply structured problem solving, lean principles, and best practice process development to drive. product and process improvements. * Hands on role in actively improving business performance and ensure delivery of business goals. * Excellent package plus bonus and car allowance on offer. REQUIREMENTS: * Degree in Science, Engineering or Business-related discipline. * 5-8 years of production management experience leading teams. * Experience of milk or liquid processing is needed. * Good knowledge of health and safety. * Active exposure to lean and continuous improvement.
