A Packaging Process Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based Pharma client. The successful candidate will have a background in Process Packaging Engineering coupled with data visualisation. THE ROLE: * Performs general evaluation studies of Packaging equipment and systems. * Manages assigned projects through completion with limited direct supervision. * Compiles and analyses statistical data to determine the feasibility of improvement initiatives. * Compiles product and process data from multiple sources and provides a visualisation of the data. * Engages stakeholders to understand how data driven decisions are made and provide data in a way that is easy for stakeholders to consume. * Complies with all safety regulations and current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs. * Prepares required engineering and packaging operations documentation. REQUIREMENTS: * Full working knowledge of the FDA, cGMP, and packaging standards. * Is proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and in data visualisation using Power BI, Tableau, ThoughtSpot. * Develops solutions to routine problem using Operational Excellence principles, specifically DMAIC. * Demonstrates a working knowledge of packaging process systems, methods and procedures. * 4+ years of relevant experience and a BS in engineering. * Previous experience in engineering in highly regulated manufacturing environments required.
