An Asset Reliability & Maintenance Technician is required by CareerWise Recruitment to join our Cork based client - a manufacturer of specialist chemical products. THE ROLE: * Work within a team which is responsible for the planning, scheduling, and execution of tasks, associated with the safe and reliable upkeep and improvement of site plant, process and equipment. * Responsibility for supporting adherence to compliance against, statutory, ISO & company requirements, and coordinating tracking, documentation and completion of work records. * Support the Asset Integrity/ Asset availability activities including, reliability studies, spare parts optimisation & procurement inspection schemes, ensuring maintenance routines, procedures, and work plans are developed to the necessary standards for best practice and ensure compliance with GMP and EHS regulations. * Support Root Cause Analysis and assisting in the investigation and resolution of electrical, instrumentation and mechanical issues on process equipment and support compliance efforts related to Safety Events, Quality Events, CAPAs, S&OP review, change management and investigations. * Responsibility to improve existing systems and develop systems, for key technical documentation including equipment documentation, asset registers, RA/SOPs, SAP, drawing and field checks. REQUIREMENTS: * Level 6 qualification in a Scientific or related discipline. * 5+ years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. * Strong documentation / systems and compliance background.
