A Quality Technician is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based electronics manufacturing client. Permanent roles with excellent benefits. THE ROLE: * The role reports to the Quality and Lean Integration Manager with responsibility for supporting the supplier quality engineering and quality engineering functions in relation to: * On-boarding new suppliers, supplier performance surveys, system configurations, follow up on supplier quality issues, quality related parts management. * Investigation of internally quality issues and issues reported by customers, review of processes and procedures, performing first article inspection and for supporting LEAN/CI initiatives. REQUIREMENTS: * L6 Certificate in Quality assurance or other relevant quality related certification. * 3 years relevant experience from electronics / manufacturing industries with practical experience in quality inspection, product, and process qualification - e.g. First Article Inspection. * Familiar with ISO9001, EN9100 or similar. * Familiar with Process FMEA. * Good knowledge of Lean principles with practical experience in problem solving and continuous improvement activities. * IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 Certified.
